Domenico's
About This Spot
Walking into Domenico’s in Pasadena, you’re greeted by a comforting blend of familiarity and timeless charm. The pace here slows just enough to remind you that mealtime is a chance to pause and savor—not just the food, but the moments shared across the table. It’s a neighborhood spot where warmth isn’t just in the oven but in the friendly nods from staff and the steady hum of regulars mingling with newcomers.
The atmosphere strikes a balance between casual and inviting, with a space that feels at once lived in and thoughtfully refreshed. While some longtime visitors may recall its more rustic roots, the essence remains—a place where authentic Italian recipes and generous hospitality make every visit feel like coming home.
Menu offerings echo this sentiment, with dishes that carry the kind of soulful balance that make you want to linger. Imagine the aroma of rich, simmering sauces blending with crisp, golden bites of garlic bread or the satisfying stretch of melted mozzarella fresh from the fryer. Whether you’re settling in with a hearty serving of pasta, pizza topped with thoughtful twists like pepperoni and spinach, or sharing a plate of lightly fried chicken wings, each bite feels rooted in tradition yet effortlessly familiar.
In many ways, Domenico’s is more than just an Italian restaurant — it’s a steady presence in the Pasadena area, a gathering place where local stories unfold over slices of pizza and plates of lasagna. The friendliness of the people who work here and the steady rhythm of guests coming through the door weave together a quiet but enduring tapestry of community.

This is one of my favorite places to get pizza and more. My family has been coming here for many years and things are still amazingly good great customer service love the greeting that you get when walk in and you usually run into people which feel the same about Domenico's. Thanks for being a stable in the Pasadena and Altadena area.

My family has been going to Domenico’s for years and we have always loved their food! They’ve since re-modeled the interior of their restaurant. Honestly I miss the old setup, it had a more homemade, mom and pop shop type of feel. Now it’s more corporate. But the food still tastes amazing! It’s been a while since I’ve visited but they’ve always had the best tortellini pasta! That with a side of garlic bread is really the chefs kiss! For dessert make sure to try out their signature truffles! I always get the White chocolate Amore. Perfect way to end the meal!

Domenicos has been through a lot through the many years they've been open. The past year has been uniquely challenging for the family and the neighborhood. I’ve enjoyed many menu items, including the Big "D" special pizza and garlic bread with cheese. Their flavors are always on point, and I usually have leftovers for another couple meals. I know everybody's very protective of their pizza preference, but Domenicos is excellent! I’ve also enjoyed the meat lasagne and fettucini alfredo. Both were great, the alfredo being very creamy and strongly flavored with parmesan. The antipasto salad is great too. Mama Rosa’s recipes are unique and filled with flavor. It's nice to support a family-owned business with a great reputation. I look forward to trying their other pasta dishes and sandwiches. All of their information is on their website. Items can be ordered for pick-up and delivery and customized online with many add-ons available. Street parking is available for pick-up.

The food here is awesome! Over the years, I've tried pretty much everything on the menu. I haven't been disappointed once. Hard to pick a favorite since my cravings differ with each visit. The staff is friendly and efficient. They always get my order correct. That's important since I drive from LA just for them.
